Miles Morales first graced comic book covers all the way back in 2011, but his relationship with fellow Spider-Person Gwen Stacy didn't become a trending topic until it was brought up in a crossover storyline between Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen in 2016. The pairing again saw a resurgence among fans once the critically acclaimed film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was released in 2018, as it heavily hinted at a blossoming romance between the two heroes.

This simple but sweet piece of fan art (drawn by artist Meg.ikarp) shows Miles and Gwen in the midst of what looks like an awkward interaction, as Miles nervously blushes while Gwen smiles understandingly -- both are hiding their alternate identities.
The two characters are both drawn fantastically, and the artist manages to capture their individual characteristics perfectly, despite not having a super-complex art style.
9 Ysa.clemtea
This colorful, unique piece of fan art, created by artist Ysa.clemtea, shows Miles giving Gwen a sunflower -- an appropriate choice given the fact that the song Sunflower is a prominent part of the 2018 Spider-Verse's soundtrack.

Artist and character designer Beverlylove is behind this incredible piece of Miles and Gwen fan art, which portrays the two heroes happily chatting while riding the metro.
The piece is extremely well done, and features a lot of original design choices that make it unique -- for instance, the random background characters are especially interesting. It also has plenty of extra Easter eggs hidden for those who take a second glance, from Morales' Air Jordans to the Sunflower poster in the background.
7 Liang-xing
Artist Liang-xing's piece of Spider-Verse fan art depicts Gwen lounging on the window of a skyscraper, lightly pushing off of it with her pointe shoes while Miles leaps in the background.
The piece is really, really good in and of itself, but it's made all the better by some fascinating artistic choices -- such as the incorporation of Kirby dots and the addition of Gwen's "Spidey sense" -- that make it clear Liang-xing is not only an outstanding artist but a hardcore comics fan as well.
6 Savvyjensenart
Artist Savvy Jensen's contribution to the growing collection of Miles and Gwen fan art is this piece, which shows the two huddled together on a makeshift Spider-hammock, enjoying their view of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The stunning, realistic view of New York City is no doubt impressive -- and the level of attention to detail is truly incredible -- but even more astounding is the ingenuity that went into crafting both Miles' and Gwen's impressive designs. The varied use of lighting and color is awesome, and in the end it gives the characters a very "comic-book-esque" look.

Drawn by Chenalii, a visual development artist at Netflix Animation, this piece of Spider-Verse fan art shows Miles, Gwen, and Peter casually chilling out; Miles is working on a project, while Gwen is listening to music (in Sony brand headphones, no doubt). This fan piece depicting Miles and Gwen (drawn by digital artist/2D animator Cheriiart) is filled with neat little artistic touches. The blue and red outlines alongside the characters represent a 3D effect, and the artist cleverly uses the Kirby Krackle to fill space.
Miles and Gwen themselves look amazing; their designs have been somewhat simplified, but all the key details are there.

This aged-up, super-romantic piece of Miles and Gwen fan art was brought to you courtesy of artist Starrunner89; it shows Miles presenting Gwen with a rose, as she smiles at the gesture.

2 Rossi.Gifford
Toronto-based comic artist/character designer Rossi Gifford created these two amazing pieces of Spider-Verse fan art for FAN EXPO Canada 2018. The first one shows Miles and Gwen in their Spider outfits, sumptuously smiling at each other; the second shows them in more casual wear, sharing a kiss.
The attention to detail on both pieces is breathtaking, and Gifford's unique art style actually works pretty well with the two characters. The amount of personality just two images are able to convey is, surprisingly, a lot.
